Captain Michael Poltorak

35 years of boating experience

I started sailing as a young child with my father and later got involved in racing. The majority of my experience is comprised of boats ranging from 15 to 55 feet. I began teaching sailing in the late 1980’s and am thrilled to now be able to pursue my dream as a professional mariner. I have crewed and helmed boats as large as 100 Gross Tons and am very comfortable teaching owners how to safely use their vessels. I hold a USCG (Captain’s) Master license with Auxiliary Sail and Assistance Towing Endorsements. I have logged over a thousand days on the water and have completed many successful deliveries up and down the west coast of the US. I look forward to helping you on your next on the water adventure.
